Tragic: The remains of a car that rammed a stationary truck near Garag Cross in Dharwad taluk on Saturday. DHARWAD: Three people were killed on the spot and two injured when the car by which they were travelling rammed a stationary truck on Pune-Bangalore national highway near Dharwad on Saturday. According to the police the accident occurred at about 6 a.m. on Saturday near Garag Cross in Dharwad taluk. The police gave the names of the dead as Shivakumar Shankar Yakkihalli of Bidar, Om Sharan Tugwe of Pune (45) and Neha Shekhar of Bidar (16). The injured Anand, car driver, and Pushpa of Bidar have been admitted to a hospital. Their condition is said to be serious. The Garag police have registered a case.
