Make ‘dry day’ a success: Minister

Thiruvananthapuram: Paloli Mohamed Kutty, Minister for Local Self-Government Institutions, has called for making tomorrow’s “dry” day observance a success. Through an official press note here on Saturday he asked the people to make use of the day to clean the surroundings of houses and buildings.

They should in particular get rid of the water that might have collected in lids, discarded tyres and coconut shells.

Puddles of water should also be got rid of, said the Minister.
