Section of media accused of spreading propaganda

Staff Reporter

ANANTAPUR: Tadipatri Municipal chairperson E.C. Venkataramana, councillor and DPC member R.Md. Iqbal, Putlur PACS president K. Muraliprasad Reddy, district president of AP Teachers’ Federation N. Raghurami Reddy and the office bearers of several associations on Saturday alleged that a section of the regional language media was carrying out a misinformation campaign about the development in the civic body. A few representatives of the media were running the campaign with malafide intentions, particularly for not acceding to their demands of extortion in the name of ‘monthly mamool’.
