Tippeswamy to remain ‘neutral’

Chitradurga: Upset by the denial of ticket to contest from Holalkere, District Youth Congress president B. Tippeswamy has said that he will not support Congress candidate H. Anjaneya in the coming elections.

Addressing presspersons here on Saturday, he said that he was hurt by the decision of the Congress high command of rejecting his application and giving B Form to Mr. Anjaneya.

The Congress high command had announced the candidature of Mr. Tippeswamy for Holalkere. But on the even of the last day for filing of nomination papers, it changed its decision and issued B Form to Mr. Anjaneya.

“I am upset by the decision. I have decided to remain neutral in the elections and will not campaign for Mr. Anjaneya,” he said.
