Countrymade bombs seized from farm

Four countrymade bombs were allegedly seized from the farm of a Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) functionary at Avaniapuram near here on Saturday.

Police said gunpowder and other explosive substances were seized in the same farm recently and the owner, a political party leader, had obtained anticipatory bail in the case. The Superintendent of Police, T.S. Anbu, visited the spot. A special team has been formed to investigate the case.
