Financial assistance

Poor women residing in the Corporation limits will be given finance assistance under the Muthulakshmi Reddy Maternity Assistance Scheme on Tuesday (May 6). The Mayor, G. Thenmozhi, will distribute the cheques for 1419 beneficiaries.

Women who want to benefit from the scheme should register themselves with doctors at the welfare centres in their respective areas by producing necessary documents and get an identity card to receive the assistance, according to a Corporation press release. — Staff Reporter
