‘No Telangana sentiment in Adilabad’
HYDERABAD: Congress nominee from Adilabad Lok Sabha seat A. Indrakaran Reddy has exuded confidence that the party would win hands down in the Lok Sabha and Assembly seats in Adilabad where the “Telangana sentiment” was absent.
Speaking to reporters here on Saturday, he claimed that the Telangana Rashtra Samiti could win the Adilabad Lok Sabha seat because of the Congress. The Congress was ahead of its rival parties in the campaign and the response from the people was impressive.
“People are not ready to believe TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao as he did not do anything for their welfare all these four years,” he said. Moreover, Rs. 2 kilo rice and other schemes launched by the Government were received well by people who were keen that the development works launched by Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy continue, he said.
