No breakthrough in double murder case
NEW DELHI: The Delhi police are yet to make a breakthrough in Friday’s sensational double murder case in Kalkaji where a mother-daughter duo were found dead in their DDA flat.
“Though prima facie robbery appears to be the motive, we are probing all angles. Since entry to the house was friendly and over Rs.6 lakh was found missing, the assailants were apparently known to the victims. The cash was kept in the house as the family had sold their flat two months ago. The deep wounds inflicted on the victims suggest use of a heavy and sharp-edged weapon by the assailants,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) H. G. S. Dhaliwal.
