Science programme for students

KOCHI: The Centre for Science in Society of the Cochin University of Science and Technology will start a science talent development programme for schoolchildren from June 19. The six-week long course will be from 10.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. for five days a week. During the course, students can access facilities such as science park, herbal garden, science library, maths lab, basic science lab and IT lab.

The scheme is open for junior students in classes 5-7 and seniors in classes 8-10. The registration fee for the programme is Rs.3,200. The payment can be made in cash, money order or bank draft payable at SBT, Thrikkakara Main branch, Kochi–22. Details of the programme can be obtained by sending a self-addressed cover affixed with a Rs.5 stamp to the director, Centre for Science in Society, Cochin University of Science and Technology–682 022.
