Three children charred to death

Sonbhadra: Three children were charred to death when their hut caught fire in Sahodiya village in the district, police said on Sunday. The parents of the children were not in the hut at the time of the mishap last night. The victims were identifed as Shakila (5), Jamila (3) and Gulam Ashiq (2). District Magistrate Ajay Kumar later visited the village and assured financial assistance of Rs 3 lakh to the family members of the deceased.
