Discount card for NoRKs

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government is proposing to facilitate discounts to non-resident Keralites (NoRKs) for purchase of consumer and other goods from public sector and other commercial enterprises.

An official release said here on Sunday that identity cards being issued by the government to 25 lakh non-resident Keralites could be used as discount cards also. Price reduction would be available from public and private enterprises for purchases using the card.

The release said that enterprises wishing to offer discounts could apply to NoRKA-Roots before May 31. — Special Correspondent
