Jayanagar Colts posts win

Bangalore: Arjun Muntha’s 106 went in vain as Bangalore Occassionals suffered a seven-wicket defeat against Jayanagar Colts in a KSCA Group I, second division league cricket match here recently.

Bangalore Occassionals scored 262 for eight in 55 overs and Jayanagar Colts thrived on Bharath’s unbeaten 82 to win in 40 overs.

The scores: Bangalore Occassionals 262 for eight in 55 overs (Arjun Muntha 106, Rahul Bhatkal 62) lost to Jayanagar Colts 264 for three in 40 overs (Bharath 82 n.o., Ravi Raj Jadav 67, Imran 61); Bangalore SC 229 in 48 overs (Jagannath 66, Pawan 54, R. Kiran Kumar six for 93) lost to Jaidur Cricketers 232 for seven in 38.4 overs (Chethan Kumar 65, Raghuveer 62); Jolly Cricketers 284 in 52.3 overs (Pavan Deshpande 97, R. Prithvi 58, Chandan four for 87) drew with Mount Joy CC 206 for seven in 44 overs (Harsha 94 n.o., Vineeth Ashok 40).
