A large number of people from Uttarakhand join Congress

NEW DELHI: A large number of people from Uttarakhand joined the Congress under the guidance Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president J. P. Agrawal and Member of Parliament Harish Rawat at the DPCC headquarters here on Sunday
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Agrawal expressed happiness over the fact that several people were joining the Congress from Uttarakhand. He said influx of new members was sure to strengthen the party in Delhi and declared that due political representation would be provided to members of the party from Uttarakhand.
The DPCC secretary, Haripal Rawat, assured the Congress top brass of “full support” of the Uttarakhandi people.
