KOCHI: The integrated pineapple farming being taken up through Kudumbasree units in Ernakulam district is becoming a model for the State, said Finance Minister T.M. Thomas Isaac on Saturday. The Finance Minister was reviewing the activities of Kudumbasree poverty eradication mission at a workshop organised at Aluva Town Hall. The workshop was organised as part of the 10th anniversary celebrations of the establishment of the Kudumbasree Mission. Dr. Isaac said that panchayats should be able to procure the vegetable and fruits in various localities at a fixed floor price.
