PALAKKAD: Kunchan Day celebrations were inaugurated at the Kunchan Nambiar Memorial at Killikurissimangalam, near Lakkdi, by social critic Sukumar Azhikode on Monday. The Kunchan Nambiar memorial award was presented to Kalamandalam Radhamani by K.G. Paulose, Vice-Chancellor of Kerala Kalamandalam Deemed University, at the function. It was presided over by chairman of the managing committee K.V. Ramakrishnan. Those who offered felicitation include P.K.G. Nambiar, A.K. Chandrankutty, film director Lohitadas, musician Sukumari Narendra Menon, K.P. Sivadas, president, Kunchan Memorial Library, among others.
