Dummy EVM for demo at polling stations

ADILABAD: A dummy electronic voting machine will be kept at each of the 1,254 polling stations in the seven Assembly segments that make Adilabad Lok Sabha constituency. Polling officials will demonstrate to new voters on how to go about casting their votes when required, Adilabad Collector Ahmad Nadeem informed.

At a meeting with representatives of political parties, the Collector said a blind or infirm voter will be allowed to enter the booth in the company of one person. -Staff Reporter
