Special skill development training

Krishnagiri: The district administration has invited applications from unemployed youth who wish to undergo special skill development training in Industrial Training Institutes.
According to a Collectorate release, the free training programme will be provided for unemployed youth who have registered themselves with any of the employment exchanges in the State. The candidates should have passed SSLC/ Plus Two and aged below 40 years.
For candidates belonging to Adi Dravidas and the Scheduled Tribes, the age limit will be 45 years.
The training programmes will be conducted at the nearest government Industrial Training Institutes to the candidates’ place of residence. The training will be conducted between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Candidates will be issued certificates. Joining the programme will not affect the seniority of registration with the employment offices. The candidates will also continue to get unemployment assistance.
