Alappuzha
ALAPPUZHA: Mild tension prevailed in the northern coast of Alappuzha on Monday after four persons were injured in a clash, allegedly between activists of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Communist Party of India (Marxist) late on Sunday night. According to police, the clash began after 11.30 p.m. near the Chethi Church when Shibu, a BJP activist, reportedly attacked Kuttan, Anish and Anilkumar, with a sword.
