Unemployed nurses stage demonstration

PUDUCHERRY: Members of the Puducherry Unemployed Nurses Association staged a demonstration here on Monday, seeking appointment in government hospitals and primary health centres.

The association said there were 50 vacancies for nurses at the Government General Hospital, the Maternity Hospital and primary health centres. These could be filled with nurses who were unemployed for the past three years. — Staff Reporter
