Man falls to death

JOLARPET: A 31-year-old businessman from Jolarpet was killed when he fell from the first floor of his cottage at Yelagiri Hills on Sunday.

Police said Satish (31) had taken three of his friends — Babu, Padmanabhan and Chandrasekaran — to show them his new cottage.

As Satish was walking along the balcony, he fell unconscious and fell down. Police said Satish was in an inebriated state when he fell down.

A case had been registered by the Yelagiri Hills police based on a complaint lodged by Ravindaran, the father of the deceased.
