Leopard kills woman

Lakhimpur Kheri: A 65-year-old woman was killed by a leopard which entered her hut in Rehua village, 7 km from Khamariya near here, police said on Monday. The deceased Phool Kumari, was asleep when the man-eater attacked and killed her. The leopard dragged Kumari’s body to an orchard on the village outskirts late on Sunday night, police said adding that the victim’s body was recovered on Monday morning. This is the fifth such incident in the area involving the man-eater.
