Nedumbassery: Dr. C.G. Krishnadas Nair, who has been appointed temporarily as Managing Director of Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) assumed office on Monday. He was accorded a reception at the airport on his arrival by S. Sharma, Minister of Fisheries and Registrations as well as the directors of the airport and senior airport officials. Mr. Nair, former chairman of the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Bangalore, and one of the directors of CIAL, took charge from S. Bharath, who is going back to the Centre after his three-year deputation was cut short by the State government.
