KOLLAM: Two teenagers drowned in a water-logged unauthorised clay mine near the Indilayappan temple at Adichanallur near here on Monday evening. They were identified as Vaishak, 15, and Sajil, 18. They were cutting grass in the adjacent fields and after work, had entered the water body for a bath. On seeing the duo drown, passers-by raised an alarm and alerted the police and Fire and Rescue Services. The bodies were fished out two-and-a-half hours later. – Staff Reporter
