KOCHI: Nationalist Congress Party State president K. Muraleedharan has said that the LDF government should abandon the ‘outdated’ policy of ‘bharanavum samaravum’ (governance in Kerala and agitation against the Centre). At a news conference here on Monday, Mr. Muraleedharan objected to the State Ministers’ criticism of NCP national president and Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar over subsidised rice allocation. It was the only point on which the LDF Ministers had consensus, he said. Mr. Muraleedharan also felt that Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan’s comments against the late R. Sankar were inappropriate. “His only correct statement about Mr. Sankar was that it was the Congress that had hurt him (Mr. Shankar) most,” he said.
