Four die in accident

KOLAR: Four members of a family were killed in an accident involving a APSRTC bus and a Maruti van, at Tamaka on the outskirts of the city on Monday morning.

Police gave names of deceased as Lokesh (35), his wife Shobha (30), his mother Vijaya and a two-year-old son Dhanush. Two others, identified as Nagadarshan and Dharanesh, were admitted to R.L. Jalappa hospital with injuries.

The accused bus driver Haribabu has been arrested, Rural Circle Inspector Satyanarayan Kudur said. — Staff Correspondent
