Three Janashakti naxals killed

KHAMMAM: Three naxalites of CPI (ML Janashakti), including two senior functionaries, were killed in an encounter with a special police party during combing in Rollapadu forests in Tekulapalli police station limits at around 5.30 a.m. on Monday.
Eight members of the dalam managed to escape. Four weapons - two 88 mm rifles, a Springfield rifle and a single barrel tapancha were recovered from the spot. The slain naxalites were identified as Solipeta Yadava Reddy alias Daya, district committee secretary, Konda Sanjeeva Reddy alies Bhaskar, State committee member, and Pandu Yadagiri alias Arun, a so called leader of the rank of district committee secretary.
