Teams fined

MUMBAI: The Indian Premier League on Monday imposed fines for slow over rate on Mumbai Indians ($1,000) and Delhi Daredevils ($500). The teams were guilty of the offence in the game played between them at the D.Y. Patil Stadium at Nerul on Sunday.

The IPL is being played as per ICC Playing Conditions and Rules, which stipulate that teams would be fined $500 for every short of the stipulated number of overs. — Special Correspondent
