Autos warned

KARUR: Regional Transport Officer, Karur, M. Raj Kapoor, has issued a stern warning to autorickshaw drivers carrying passengers in excess of permitted capacity, having seating arrangement in addition to sanctioned capacity, allowing conductors on board and parking and soliciting passengers within 200 metres of a bus stand. Any violation would be dealt with severely and penal action would be taken against offending auto drivers, Mr. Raj Kapoor has said in a press release issued here on Monday.
