A dozen Tihar inmates injured

NEW DELHI: About a dozen inmates of Tihar Central Jail were injured in a scuffle inside a jail van at Mandawli in East Delhi on Monday.

The incident took place in the morning when the inmates were being taken to the Karkardooma courts for an appearance. The jail van was nearing the Ghazipur traffic signal when a fight broke out among the inmates, some of whom injured the others with blades.
