Policemen’s sons held for auto-lifting

NEW DELHI: Two young men, both sons of policemen, have been arrested by the Crime Branch of the Delhi police on the charge of auto-lifting. The police claim to have recovered 10 stolen motorcycles at their instance.
Deepak and Jagdish were arrested at Hazrat Nizamuddin on May 2 . During interrogation, the accused purportedly confessed to their involvement in auto-lifting cases.
The police said Deepak’s father is an assistant sub-inspector with the Haryana police . Jagdish’s father is a Delhi Police head constable.
