AP basketball teams for junior National

VIJAYAWADA: The following players will represent Andhra Pradesh in the junior Nationals basketball tournament to be held at Bilwara (Rajasthan) from May 26 to June 1. The teams will undergo a training camp at YMCA (Secunderabad) from May 6 to 23.

The teams:

Boys: D.V.K. Raju, Sujith Reddy, Jagadish, R. Suresh (East Godavari), Farooq (Kurnool), Vijayakumar (Warangal), Ranga Reddy (Anantapur), D.H.M. Seetha Rama Raju (West Godavari), Ch. Naveen (Guntur), Srinivasa Rao (Vizag), Abdul Khan (Krishna), Sai Deekshit, Maradona, Samson, K. Bhushan Rao (Hyderabad).

Girls: Surya Kumari, Sravanthi, Deepika (East Godavari), Kanaka Durga (West Godavari), Aparna, Anjani Choudary, Radhika, Duzion, Preethi (Hyderabad), Mounika (Karimnagar), Sravani (Khammam), Dhanalakshmi (Krishna), Tulasi, Prabhavathi (Krishna), Janaki (Guntur).

Sub-junior basketball

The AP state sub-junior basketball championships for boys and girls will be held at Khammam from May 9 to 12.

The AP teams to take part in the sub-junior Nationals to be held at Kapurthala (Punjab) will be selected from the meet. — Sports Reporter
