University of Kerala Elected: Member of the Syndicate A.A. Rasheed has been elected as the representative of the Senate in the panel that will suggest a list of candidates for appointment as Vice-Chancellor of the university. Of the 79 votes polled, Mr. Rasheed got 71. Degree examinations: The B.A. / B.Sc. part one examinations beginning in May will be held in the forenoon of May 23, 26 and 27 while the B.Com./BPA part one examinations will be held in the afternoon of May 23 and 26. The B.A./ B.Sc. part two examination will be held in the forenoon of May 28, 29 and 30, while the B.Com. part two examination will be held in the afternoon of May 28. The part two BPA examinations will be held in the afternoon of May 28 and 29. The B.Sc. subsidiary examination will be held in the forenoon of June 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13. PG examination: The fourth semester M.A./M.Sc./ M.Com./MSW/ MTA examinations will begin on May 16. BDS: Tintu Sarah Chandy has secured the first rank in the fourth year BDS part two examinations held in March. B.Tech.: Results of the first and second semester (combined) B.Tech. examinations held in January have been published. Applications for re-examination can be submitted without fine till May 9, with a fine of Rs.50 till May 12 and with a fine of Rs.250 till May 14. The results can be had from the web site from May 6.
