Eight killed in separate accidents
DEHRA DUN: Eight persons were killed and 11 injured in different road accidents in Uttarakhand over the past 24 hours.Two persons were killed and ten injured when the jeep they were travelling in fell into a deep khud on the Bhawali–Ramnagar road near Naini Tal on Tuesday. Five persons were killed and one injured when the utility vehicle they were travelling in from Tehri to Ghansali rolled down a hill near Sunehri Gad on Monday. One more person was killed when a truck rolled down the hill on the Tehri-Chamba road, according to the State Disaster Mitigation and Management Centre here.
