Nursing home detains rape victim

Muzaffarnagar: In a shocking incident, a five-year-old rape victim has been allegedly detained by a private nursing home authorities for not paying the bill at Jansath town in the district on Tuesday. The girl was raped 15 days ago at Gujjerheri village and was admitted to the nursing home, the police said. The girl’s parents have filed a complaint alleging that she was detained by the nursing home authorities after they failed to pay the bill of Rs.200. SSP Ajai Anand has ordered action against the nursing home.
