Aligarh: Three members of an inter-state gang involved in loot and murder were on Tuesday arrested on the outskirts of the city following an encounter with police. The gang used to lure unsuspecting victims on highways with the help of women and then loot them, Superintendent of Police J.K. Shahi said. The gang originally headed by one Babloo Sharma, presently in Tihar jail, was active in several districts of U.P., Delhi and Gurgaon. The arrested persons have been identified as Vijay Pandit, Gopi and Sanjay. A rifle and two country-made pistols were recovered from them.
