Postal department to supply Gangajal
Meerut: The postal department is all set to sell holy Gangajal (packaged Ganga water) through the local postman.
The Indian Postal department has entered into agreement with Garhwal Division Development Corporation- an Uttarakhand Government enterprise and would soon sell Ganga water in 500 ml and 100 ml bottles costing Rs. 30 and Rs. 11 respectively, initially in Ghaziabad and Noida, said Meerut Division, senior superintendent of post-offices N.P. Yadav. The department would get commission on sale of Ganga water. Its sale will be extended to Meerut and across the country soon.
