Woman labourer injured in explosion

ADILABAD: Lakshmi, an agricultural labourer from Ponnari lost five fingers on her left hand due to an explosion of some material she was handling in the farm on Tuesday. According to Rural Circle Inspector Papalal, Lakshmi had been to work and while collecting twigs with bare hands in an effort to clean the field, there was blast. She was admitted to Rajiv Institute of Medical Sciences. -Staff Reporter
