Children can win ‘planes’ aboard flight

Staff Reporter

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Deccan is all set to delight its young guests with contests and prizes to be played and won on board. The airline has commenced ‘Name a bird, win a plane’ contest for children on flights having a duration of over an hour from May 5. The winner will get a miniature Deccan A 320 aircraft model.

All that the little guests need to do is to fill up a contest form provided on board and answer a simple question. The winners’ names will be announced during the flight and the prize too will be given away. Parents can team up with the children. Over 4,000 miniature planes are up for grabs and every child on a flight wins a plane by giving the right answer.

Tickets as prize

The contest will be followed by a lucky draw and three lucky children will win return tickets for themselves and their parents to any destination of their choice on the airline’s network.

Nalin Gagrani, Head Marketing, Deccan, in a release, said the focus is on “offering the guests an enjoyable on board experience.”
