Acting on a tip-off, the officials broke open the lock of the house situated next to an Ayurveda hospital on the Ring Road and seized 72 cases of illicit liquor, 140 litres of spirit, 105 litres of blend, besides 140 fake labels and 4 kg of cork.

Tuesday’s seizure is the largest in Mysore during the run-up to the Assembly elections scheduled for May 10.
