Bangalore: Tejesh Chandra’s 105 set the base for Raghu CA’s 132-run victory over Star Cricketers in an under-15 tournament match here recently. Raghu CA posted 245 for five in 25 overs and restricted Star Cricketers to 113 for five in 25 overs.

In another match, Raghu CA defeated Seema Electricals by nine wickets.

The scores:

Raghu CA 245 for five in 25 overs (Tejesh Chandra 105, B.M. Santosh 80) bt Star Cricketers 113 for five in 25 overs; Seema Electricals 83 in 18.2 overs lost to Raghu CA 86 for one in 9.1 overs.

Jawahar SC (1) posts win

Jawahar SC (1) defeated Jupiter CA by six wickets in a KSCA Group I, first division league match here recently. Chasing 157 in its second innings, Jawahar SC (1), guided by V.S. Pawar (53 n.o.) and S. Bhavani (42 n.o.), won in 25.2 overs.

Jupiter CA 175 in 34 overs and 255 in 66.1 overs (Madhubabu 54, Bharath 45, M.R. Darshan four for 54) lost to Jawahar SC (1) 274 in 71 overs and 157 for four in 25.2 overs (V.S. Pawar 53 n.o., Shirshir Bhavani 42 n.o.).

Herons CC 229 in 74.2 overs and 158 for six in 54 overs (Arjun Hoysala 41) drew with Malleswaram Gymkhana 258 in 52.1 overs (Raju Bhatkal 110 n.o., Nikhil Kashyap four for 43).

Vultures CC 245 in 66.4 overs and 191 for five in 38 overs (S. Rohit 103 n.o.) drew with Swastic Union CC (1) 256 in 71.5 overs (Ganesh Satish 110, Vinay Kumar six for 42).

Jawans CC 327 in 90.2 overs and 40 for three in nine overs drew with Wadiyar CC 195 in 80.4 overs (Rajashekar 57, Manjunath 52).

Abdullah on song

At Mysore, four goals by Abdullah (30th, 35th, 50th & 80th minutes) helped defending champion The Govt. Text Book Press FC (Mysore) register a 4-2 win over Pope FC in the MDFA ‘A’ Division football league match at the Doddakere Maidan grounds on Tuesday.

Yesukumar (fifth) and Xavier (85th) scored for the loser.
