Admission process begins at MANUU

Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University has started the admission process for regular courses with the commencement of sale of applications. MANUU is offering admission in various P.G. courses i.e. M.A. (Urdu, Persian, Arabic, English, Hindi, Public Administration, Women’s Studies, History, Translation Studies, Mass Communication & Journalism), MBA including M.Phil. (Urdu, English, Women’s Studies, Hindi & Public Administration) and Ph.D. (Urdu, Public Administration, Women Studies, English & Education), diploma in (Arabic, Functional Urdu & Arabic Translation), P.G. diploma in (Musicology, Tourism, Information Technology) and also Master of Education, Bachelor of Education and Diploma in Education.

For all M.Phil. and Ph.D. courses, admissions will be on the basis of entrance examinations. In all other courses, admissions will be on the basis of merit. The last date for sale of application forms and prospectus is June 10, according to a press release.

The prospectus and application forms are available at the university campus, Hyderabad, all regional centres and College of Teachers’ Education on payment of Rs. 100 (by hand) or Rs. 150 (by post) payable through demand draft drawn in favour of “Maulana Azad National Urdu University” at Hyderabad through any nationalised bank. The same can also be downloaded from the university website www.manuu.ac.in.

Reservation for SC/ST & OBC candidates will be as per the GOI norms and rules as amended from time to time. Hostel facility would be provided subject to availability.

The UGC Academic Staff College of Maulana Azad National Urdu University will be conducting workshop in IT for educational administrators from June 3 to 6.

Administrative officers of universities/degree colleges can participate in the workshop. Interested can apply by downloading the application available on the university website www.manuu.ac.in.

UGC – Academic Staff College, MANUU, will conduct orientation programme for Urdu medium lecturers from June 19 to July 16. All Urdu medium lecturers/Urdu lecturers can participate.
