CPI (M) welcomes demolition of wall

CHENNAI: The Communist Party of India (Marxist) on Tuesday welcomed the demolition of a wall at Uthapuram village in Madurai district.

In a statement here, party State secretary N. Varadarajan commended the government action in convening a meeting of the communities for creating a congenial atmosphere for removing the wall. He appealed to the government to allot special fund for the economic development of the village. — Special Correspondent
