MADURAI: The Regional Centre for Art and Culture under the aegis of Jawahar Bal Bhavan will organise a regional-level summer camp for boys and girls here from May 8. The 10-day camp will train participants in ‘silambattam,’ ‘Bharatanatyam,’ painting, Carnatic music and ‘oyilattam.’ According to R. Jagadheesan, Assistant Director, Regional Centre for Art and Culture, boys and girls in the age group of 9 to 16 years are eligible to attend the camp. Ten participants from each of the districts of Dindigul, Theni, Sivaganga and Ramanathapuram, along with Madurai, would take part in this camp, he said.
