PUDUCHERRY: Chief Minister N. Rangasamy told the Assembly on Wednesday that the government would take action against the local agents of the Gold Quest International Private Limited if any complaint of defrauding the customers was received. Responding to Leader of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam A.Anbalagan’s plea that the government should come forward to protect the interest of as many as 30,000 people who had joined the scheme, Mr.Rangasamy said action would be taken on the basis of specific complaints. R.Viswanathan wanted the government to implement the medical insurance scheme for government employees introduced by the Tamil Nadu government recently.
