15,871 students to appear for Eamcet

NELLORE: As many as 15,871 students will appear for Eamcet at 34 different test venues here on Thursday.

According to Regional Coordinator R. Subba Rao, 13,501 students will appear for engineering stream entrance test at 30 different examination centres from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. while 2,370 students will appear for agriculture and medical stream from 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. at four test venues.

Moreover, candidates appearing for the entrance test at Government Polytechnic College at Venkateswarapuram, Priyadarsini College of Engineering, Al-Huda Polytechnic at Chintareddy Palem, Quba Engineering College and A.V.S. College of Engineering have been advised to reach the venue early in view of the distance from town.

Instructions

Outlining instructions to observers of Eamcet-2008 at a meeting here on Wednesday, Government Polytechnic College (women) principal V. Raghavan said that no engineering stream candidate would be allowed into the examination hall after 10 a.m. and medicine candidate after 2.30 p.m.

“Candidates, who have sent their Eamcet applications through on line, must bring their original on line ICR forms to test venues. And those who did not receive hall tickets can download them from the website www.apeamcet.org.”

“Mobile phones, calculators, mathematical tables and any other electronic gadgets will not be allowed. Even invigilators, observers and other staff should also not carry the mobile phone.”
