One killed, 22 hurt in road accidents

Sangareddy: One person was killed and over 22 others injured in three different accidents in Medak district on Wednesday. Swamy, (30), died on the spot when the tractor he was travelling overturned on the Jagdevpur-Dhoulapur road. Another worker Narsimhulu (20) who was critically hurt has been shifted to Gandhi Hospital. They were returning to Dhoulapur after unloading sand in Jagdevpur.

In another accident, 22 passengers including bus driver, were injured when an Armoor depot APSRTC bus collided with a truck near Brahmanpalli of Toopran mandal on National Highway seven. Traffic came to a stand still for almost an hour on the highway. In another accident pillion riders -- Jupudi Upender, a field assistant in the EGS programme and his cousin Durgaiah were critically injured when their motorcycle was hit by truck near Laxmakkapet on Rajiv Rahadari.
