THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The annual general body meeting of the Keala Assistant Public Prosecutors’ Association has elected Deputy Director of Prosecutions (DDP) (Kollam) V. Radhakrishnan Nair as president. Assistant Public Prosecutor (APP) (Varkala) is the new general secretary. DDP (Thrissur) V.C. Ismail and DDP (Kottayam ) Beena M. Sulaiman were named vice-presidents. M.S. Mohammed Ansari, DDP, Directorate of Prosecutions and P. Premnath, DDP, Palakkad, are the secretaries and DDP, Alappuzha, K.O. Raju is the treasurer of the organisation for 2008-’09. The meeting also elected a 14-member executive committee. — Special Correspondent
