e-stamping

NEW DELHI: Delhi has become the first State in the country to introduce e-stamping for registration of immovable properties. The electronic way of stamp duty payment was launched by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Wednesday.

Commending the role of the Revenue Department in introducing e-stamping, Ms. Dikshit said it would go a long way in ensuring transparency.
