KOTTAYAM: Natural rubber prices touched new heights on Wednesday with RSS 4 variety fetching Rs.119.50 a kg in Kottayam and Kochi. This is the official prices released by the rubber Board, but traders said a few of the transactions on Wednesday morning were over Rs.120 a kg. The rubber prices which had hovered around Rs.116 a kg early this month had started its northward move by Monday when it registered Rs.116.50 a kg. It reached Rs.118.50 on Tuesday and continued to climb new heights on Wednesday. – Staff Reporter
