CHENNAI: Governor Surjit Singh Barnala on Wednesday appointed four persons as State Information Commissioners in the Tamil Nadu Information Commission. An official release said the Governor administered oath of office to T.R. Ramasamy, R. Perumalsamy, T. Srinivasan and Dr. Sarada Nambi Arooran, as the new Information Commissioner at a function held at the Raj Bhavan. Chief Secretary L.K. Tripathy, D. Jothi Jagarajan, Secretary to Government, Public Department; T.S. Sridhar, Secretary to Government, Personnal and Administrative Reforms Department; G. Nanchil Kumar, Chennai Police Commissioner; Sandeep Saxena, Secretary to Governor, and S. Ramakrishnan, State Chief Information Commissioner, participated.
